Exercises to Lose Belly Fat Fast


The media is always touting a new set of exercises to lose belly fat fast every week, at least that's what it seems like. I never ceases to amaze me how the corporate world tries to feed us the newest ab miracle that's supposed to work wonders and give you those nice firm set of abs you've always wanted...

If you don't have a flat stomach, it's honestly not your fault... You and 99.9% of the people in this world have been misled to believe that simply doing ab exercises is what gives you a flatter stomach. Well, I'm here to tell you that's dead wrong!

Ab exercises will simply strengthen the ab muscles; they don't create the right type of metabolic response to start burning major fat cells. It sounds weird at first but you are much better off doing full body work outs as well as core body work outs rather than ab exercises to try and lose belly fat.

Here are a few workouts that will work well for anyone who does them on a regular basis (3-4 times per week).

- Wind sprints or running up hills

- Running up stairs

- Push ups

- Pull ups - Also known as chin ups... Get a pull up bar or monkey bars, and simply pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar, then lower your body down and do the exercise all over again; make sure your feet don't hit the ground.

- Hanging leg raises - This is where you hang from a bar like you're going to do a pull up and instead you lift your legs up straight out in front of you.

Yes, I'm aware these exercises don't seem to have anything to do with the abs but they work ten times better (if not more) for burning belly fat.

All you have to do it burn a massive amount of calories; work up a heavy sweat and get your heart pumping, that's when you're burning calories. You can't choose what fat cells will be burned off in what sections of your body, all of that selective body part fat loss is nonsense...

When you burn calories your body chooses which fat cells to burn not you, it doesn't matter how many sit ups you do.
